One Plus 3T: Is it worth the upgrade?

One Plus 3T: Is it worth the upgrade?

Listen up ladies and gentlemen, one plus is coming out with an upgraded version of OnePlus 3 ie.  3T. This upgrade is bound to hit the market in December. Fans of this phone have something to look forward to; a new update.  It seems like every other brand is following Apple’s footsteps and let us hope it is as promising as the other series it has launched.

To answer that question, let us have a look at what’s in store for you. Based on the design it isn’t that different, it is identical to one plus 3 but it comes in a very bold grey color i.e. gunmetal grey. It looks a bit more elegant.

The hardware however, isn’t the same as the previous series and comes in the latest Snapdragon processor viz snapdragon 821. The battery is also larger (3,400mAh) and 6GB of DDR4 RAM.

The only thing that doesn’t seem so promising this time is the camera as it comes in a sensor similar to that of Sony’s cameras. The 16MP rear camera uses Sony’s IMX 298b sensor thus compromising on its otherwise great quality pictures.  But then again, the quality won’t be that bad either.
Now let us come to the major factor; the pricing factor. This phone comes in two versions. The first one comes in an internal memory of 64 GB and the other one comes in 128GB.   OnePlus 3T 64 GB comes around Rs 30,000 whilst 128GB will come cost you around 33,000.

Rumour has it that the phone is going to release on 2nd December so stay tuned and check the reviews once it is released.  This would make a perfect Christmas or new year present for your loved ones or your kids and even the elderly who have problems going about small phones that aren’t easy to manage.
